Veronica Franco/Marea Territorio Lab

Veronica Franco, an architect and sustainability expert from Medellin, Colombia, specializes in furniture and object design. She is the founder of Marea Territorio Lab, a design studio that crafts unique pieces from sustainable materials, advocating for a collaborative and circular economy within small rural communities.

During her time at the Resilience Office in Medellin, she toured various rural areas in Antioquia, where she connected with a group of artisans who are now key partners in Marea's creative process.She completed her master's degree in Sustainability in the Urban Environment at The City College of New York and has gained experience working at various architectural firms, including Juan Manuel Peláez and Taller 13 in Mexico.
